The image toolkit covers the practical steps between receiving a picture and putting it to use. Convert incompatible formats, reduce a large photo for email, resize artwork to exact dimensions, crop unwanted edges, correct orientation, or make quick tonal adjustments without installing a full editor.
When you select an image, the browser decodes it into local memory and applies the requested operation through canvas and browser image codecs. The resulting JPG, PNG, WebP, or BMP is encoded in the same tab. That means personal photographs, product drafts, screenshots, and document scans are not copied to a FileForge server. There is no account or watermark.
Different outputs serve different purposes. JPEG is broadly compatible and efficient for photographs. PNG preserves transparency and sharp interface graphics. WebP often creates compact web images. Compression and resizing permanently change pixel data, so keep the original and compare fine text, faces, edges, and gradients before publishing the smaller copy.
